Seven fixes, in the order we’d try them — for when the 51 game login just won’t let you in.
You type your number, your password, tap Log in… and nothing. Or a red error. Or the page just spins. It’s annoying, especially when there’s a round you wanted to catch.
We’ve collected the problems readers ask us about most and put the fixes in the order that solves things fastest. Start at #1 and stop as soon as it works.
1. Check you’re on the real site
Sounds obvious, but it’s the number one cause. Search results for 51game login are full of copies with nearly the same name. A copy site will happily say “wrong password” forever — because your account doesn’t exist there. Use the official 51 Game login or the saved app.
2. Type the number without +91 or 0
The login field wants exactly 10 digits. If your phone autofills +91 98xxxxxxx or 098xxxxxxx, delete the extra bit. This alone fixes a surprising number of “account does not exist” errors.
3. Reset the password instead of guessing
Three or four wrong attempts in a row can trigger a short lock. Rather than guessing, reset it — it takes a minute with an SMS OTP. Steps are on our forgot password page.
4. OTP not coming? Fix the phone, not the site
- Wait a full 60 seconds before tapping resend.
- Check the SMS spam/blocked folder — some phones file OTPs there.
- Dual-SIM? Make sure the registered SIM is active for SMS.
- Low signal in a basement or lift is a real culprit.
5. Switch network and clear the cache
If the page spins or shows a blank screen, switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data (or the other way round). Then clear the browser cache for the site. On Chrome: Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data → Cached images and files.
6. Turn off the VPN and ad blocker
Some VPNs route you through countries where the site behaves differently, and aggressive ad blockers can break the login button. Turn both off, reload, try again.
7. Try the app (or the browser, if you were on the app)
If one route is broken, the other usually works. The 51Game app keeps you logged in; the browser is a good fallback when the app needs an update.
